As a Launchpad Scholar, you will receive a renewable scholarship while gaining unparalleled access to the heart of Kansas City’s business community. This program offers a direct pipeline to premier local companies and exclusive opportunities to engage with prominent executives, equipping ambitious students with the tools, connections, and confidence to lead.
Incoming freshmen can customize their experience through exclusive tracks: More In 4, Banking Leaders of Tomorrow, or Real Estate Leaders of Tomorrow. These specialized paths personalize professional development within specific industries and offer additional scholarship opportunities for those selected. While these tracks provide a tailored edge, they are optional; students may choose the "Launchpad Only" path to receive the program’s core benefits. Please note that these tracks are reserved for first-time college students; transfer students are not eligible for specialized tracks and will participate via the "Launchpad Only" experience.
Bloch Launchpad ensures your professional growth is intentional through personalized, one-on-one guidance. By partnering with a dedicated Career Coach at the Bloch Career Center, you’ll map out a unique career path and refine your professional brand starting early in your journey. To ensure a standout resume, every scholar gains hands-on experience through a required internship or a project in the Bloch Consulting Lab, complemented by high-impact leadership roles within the community.
Hi, I am Whitney Vaughn the Launchpad Program Director! I am from Kansas City, MO born and raised and professionally I come from Park University where I was the campus director at the downtown KC location and Lenexa location.
