Accreditation

The Bloch School of Management is the only school in the Kansas City region accredited by both AACSB and NASPAA. The Bloch School’s business administration programs are accredited by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), and the public administration programs are accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).

Publications

The Bloch School publishes an annual magazine to encourage interest and support among UMKC alumni, friends and constituents. The School also records and distributes The Bloch School Podcast to help students learn about business, leadership and community impact in Kansas City.

Henry W. Bloch is the co-founder of tax empire H&R Block and considered to be one of the world’s greatest entrepreneurs. He is not only the Bloch School benefactor, but also the role model for what we teach: He embodies the philosophy of working hard, generating wealth and success, and completing the continuum by giving back to the community through philanthropy and social entrepreneurship.
