We know that paying for college is an important part of your decision-making process. There are many things you need to factor in, including tuition, residency (Missouri or out-of-state), fees, the cost of books and much more.
There is help available and it comes in many forms: federal loans, scholarships and grants. We provide opportunities for all students, undergraduate and graduate, new and returning. Please click on the tabs below for additional information on affordability.
Fees for coursework vary with the number of hours of enrollment, your school status, the term of enrollment and the applicability of any special fees. View fees and payment schedules.
Missouri residents will be charged in-state fees. Non-resident students may be eligible for in-state or reduced out-of-state fees. View fees and payment schedules.
Students who are residents of one of the following Kansas counties may be eligible for the Metro Rate: Atchison, Douglas, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Osage, Shawnee, Wyandotte.
For students planning to enroll full time who are residents of Kansas (in counties other than those included in the Metro Rate), Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin, the Midwest Student Exchange Program allows you to pay a reduced out-of-state fee for certain UMKC programs including those in the Bloch School. To be classified as a Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) student, mark the “MSEP” box on your application for admission.

The Bloch School has Graduate Research/Teaching Assistantships (GRAs/GTAs) available each academic year. A GRA works for a faculty or staff member for a certain number of hours each week. GRA/GTA positions are paid at an hourly rate of $10.00 per hour for undergraduate students and $20.00 per hour for graduate students. These positions are highly competitive, and applications are reviewed year-round.
