Dr. Jae Jung is an associate professor of strategy and international business at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He received his Ph.D. from Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, Canada, and his MBA and B.A. from Korea University, South Korea.
Prior to his academic career, Jung served as researcher at the Korea Development Institute and as sergeant in the U.S. Army. He also worked for Kia Motors in Germany and for Sam Yang Textile in Vietnam.
Dr. Jung’s research interests revolve around alliances, corporate social responsibility, and foreign direct investment. Dr. Jung has had around 20 publications including ones in Long Range Planning, Journal of Business Ethics, Management International Review, and Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies.
Dr. Jung enjoys teaching in undergraduate, MBA and E.MBA programs. His teaching subjects include strategy, international management, corporate social responsibility, consulting, and study abroad.
