2026 UMKC Real Estate Symposium

Presented by the Lewis White Real Estate Center

Friday, March 6, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: To Be Announced

Join hundreds of real estate professionals from across the region for one of the most anticipated industry events of the year. The 2026 UMKC Real Estate Symposium brings together leading thinkers, practitioners, and innovators to explore the forces reshaping commercial real estate—and what they mean for your business, your clients, and your community.

This year’s theme focuses on resilience and agility in a rapidly changing environment. From demographic shifts and evolving consumer expectations to the accelerating impact of artificial intelligence, climate variation, geopolitics, and regulatory change, today’s CRE leaders must navigate unprecedented complexity. Our program is designed to equip you with the insight, context, and strategic perspective needed to thrive.

What to Expect

Attendees will hear from a curated lineup of respected experts and industry leaders who will address timely topics such as:

  • Local, national, and global economic trends shaping CRE performance
  • The future of workforce and workplace in an era of technological and cultural disruption
  • Financial sustainability in community design and planning, including new approaches to understanding long‑term fiscal health
  • Accounting, tax, and legal updates essential for anyone who owns, manages, or advises on commercial property
  • AI, data centers, and energy infrastructure, including the rise of new asset classes and their implications for development, valuation, and community impact

Speaker announcements will be released soon. Our team is finalizing an exceptional roster that reflects the depth, diversity, and forward‑looking perspective the Symposium is known for.
