Graduate Certificate in Public Policy Analysis

This certificate provides students with the foundational skills to understand how to appropriately structure policy problems to propose evidence-based policy solutions.

The Department of Public Affairs offers a 12 credit-hour professional Graduate Certificate in Urban Public Policy Analysis. This certificate may be earned alone or in combination with another graduate degree at UMKC and is especially appropriate for those who wish to learn the skills necessary to analyze policy problems, evaluate existing policies, and learn about a substantive public policy area.

Admission requirements for the Urban Policy and Management certificate are the same requirements needed for the Master of Public Administration degree.
