I had an older sister who attended UMKC and would tell me about the business school and how much she loved the environment there. She gave me a tour and a lot of information before I transferred.
What piece of advice would you share with high school students or transfer students that are just beginning their college search process?
I would share with students to be more involved in groups and seminars. I wasn’t too involved in my first year and I feel like I missed out on a lot of connections and events.
How do you (or do you plan to) find balance between school and your personal life?
I always stay ahead of my schoolwork in order to maintain a good balance between my school and personal life. With work, I am always staying on top of my work and finishing on time or before.
What is your favorite thing about Kansas City? What parts of Kansas City are you excited to explore?
My favorite thing about Kansas City is all of the different parts that you can explore. For example the plaza, downtown, west bottoms, west port, they are all different things you can explore.
