While my brother was in his freshman year, he would always tell me all about his experiences, and I knew that if I did not try coming here, I would deeply regret it for the rest of my life.
What piece of advice would you share with high school students or transfer students that are just beginning their college search process?
Just try to meet as many people as you possibly can and do not be afraid to approach others, even if you have no idea who they are.
How do you (or do you plan to) find balance between school and your personal life?
I think limiting procrastination and doom scrolling is a key part to my time management. Also, I would say that trying to finish my assignments as soon as possible has allowed me to enjoy more free time for my hobbies and to talk with my friends and family.
What is your favorite thing about Kansas City? What parts of Kansas City are you excited to explore?
To this day, my favorite part of Kansas City is the ZOO, I really enjoyed my visit there and I would definitely go back. A part or a place that I am excited to visit is the Arrowhead Stadium. I’m still missing the experience of going to a Chiefs Game and it is something that has been on my bucket-list for a while now.
