Bloch Communication Center Coaches
Patricia Gonzalez, Peer Coach
Patricia Gonzalez graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the Bloch School of Management last fall. She is currently a graduate student working towards obtaining her Master of Science in Accounting degree. After graduating with her Master's, her goal will be to attain her CPA license and she will work for a public accounting firm. She believes communication skills are very important in the business world and she is excited about the opportunity to help other students learn and improve those skills.
Ally Gregory, Peer Coach
Ally Gregory is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree at the Bloch School. After graduation, she plans to complete her education with a Master's degree and become a licensed CPA. Outside of the Communication Center, she works as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for an intermediate financial accounting course. On the weekends, she works at Loose Mansion, a historic wedding and event venue. Ally is eager to help students advance their skills at the Bloch Communication Center.
Alexandra Foster, Peer Coach
Alexandra Foster is currently a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri - Kansas City over the summer. Upon graduation, she plans to earn her CPA license and enter the public accounting field as an auditor. When she is not working in the Communication Center, Alexandra is a bartender and manager at a local Irish pub in downtown Lee's Summit. She believes communication skills are a big part of being successful in the business world and is excited to help other students grow as communicators.
Erin Blocher, Director
Erin Blocher has served as the Director of the Bloch Communication Center since it began in 2008. She teaches at the Bloch School of Management as a full-time instructor and is the course coordinator for MGT 301: Effective Business Communication. In addition to overseeing the Peer Coach staff, Erin works as a writing coach for the Bloch School's Executive Masters programs. She enjoys being in an atmosphere of learning each day and helping students reach their goals.
