Dr. Roger Alan Pick is Professor Emeritus of Management Information Systems at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) where he worked from 1993 to 2018. He taught over 4000 students at Purdue University, University of Wisconsin - Madison, University of Cincinnati, Louisiana Tech University, and UMKC. His primary teaching assignment was management of information technology, but he has taught many other courses in information systems including decision support, data management, computer applications, programming, knowledge management, and analysis and design as well as some courses in mathematics and operations research (analytics). His research interests are in decision support systems, model management, information technology economics, and information technology leadership. His peer-reviewed research articles on these topics have appeared in Communications of the ACM, Management Science, Journal of MIS, Decision Support Systems, IEEE Transactions, Information and Management, and numerous other outlets.
