Qiyang (Cliff) Lian is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor’s degree from Nanjing Audit University.Lian uses archival methods to conduct research on financial reporting fraud and auditor-client relationship. The papers he co-authored have been presented at conferences including the Auditing Midyear Meeting, the American Accounting Association Annual Meeting, and the Canadian Academic Accounting Association Annual Meeting, as well as at numerous workshops.Lian is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of Colorado.
