Pete Burney is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Henry W. Bloch School of Management.
He received his M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and holds a B.S. in secondary education from Louisiana State University. He is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at The University of Tennessee.
His teaching interests are in the areas of operations and strategic supply chain management, organizational behavior, leadership effectiveness and executive education.
Pete’s industry experience has included corporate officer roles as Senior Vice-President of Supply Chain and Business Enablement at Hallmark Cards, where he spent 25 years, and Vice-President of Diversity, Inclusion and Compliance at JE Dunn Construction Company. Pete served four years as a U.S. Army officer before his career in industry.
