Dr. Day joined the Bloch School in 1991 and retired in 2019. She served as faculty, Department Director, Director of the Executive MBA, Interim Associate Dean, and UMKC Faculty Ombudsperson. She retired after many years of teaching undergraduate, graduate, executive students, conducting an active research program focusing on compensation and sexual orientation diversity in organizations, and serving on multiple committees and teams at the the School, University, and community levels. She currently enjoys traveling, reading, drawing, church, and spending time with friends and her dog.
