Kimberly Luken is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Accountancy at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She also serves as UMKC Coordinator for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Professor Luken’s teaching interest areas include Financial and Tax Accounting.
Prior to joining the Bloch School, she served as an Accounting Instructor for the Kansas City Metropolitan Community College System, and as an Advisory Manager at Ernst & Young.
Professor Luken holds a Master of Accounting Degree (MAcc) from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting Degree from the University of Northern Iowa. In addition, she holds a CPA license.
