Program Details

Most organizations are unsuccessful with their fundraising efforts, not because their cause isn’t worthy of support, but because they simply are not organized to raise funds. This four-day course prepares your organization to fundraise effectively. It provides an overview of fundraising, national and local trends, models of fundraising, and more. Applied Project: Agency mission statement and case statement.

This is a core course in the Professional Fundraising Series.

Scholarships:
MCNL has a limited number of partial scholarships that can be applied to the registration fee for most of our programs. Apply for a scholarship using our online form. 

Graduate Credit:
If you would like to earn graduate credit for the fundraising courses but are not currently a UMKC student, learn more about becoming UMKC as a visiting/community student. 

Location and Parking:
All sessions are held in Room 211 of Bloch Executive Hall at 5108 Cherry Street on the UMKC Volker Campus. We will mail parking passes prior to the start of the course.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy:
Full refunds will be given when cancellations are made at least five working days before the first session. A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from refunds when notification occurs fewer than five working days before class begins. No refunds will be made after the first session has begun.
