Congratulations on your admission to the UMKC Bloch School of Management! We are thrilled you have chosen to pursue your graduate business education with us. To ensure you are set up for success as you begin the program, please review the following items. As always, your Graduate Programs Office is available for any questions that come up. Our academic advisors are here to help you plan your program of study and register for upcoming coursework. As a new student, you will need to meet with your advisor prior to your starting semester. For more details on advising, visit our Bloch advising page.
If you are pursuing the Professional MBA and have a last name that begins with the letters A-Q, Jewel Madsen is your advisor. Jewel can be reached at 816-235-5126 or email@example.com.

Canvas is our online, learning management system where you can find all your course content provided by faculty. As a new student, you will need to complete the Technology Support Orientation Quiz. To do this, log-on to Canvas using your student single sign on (SSO). Click the PMBA template and locate the Technology Support Orientation Quiz in the Course Overview.\\
Getting Your Student ID
Once you have successfully registered for classes, get your UMKC Student ID by visiting the UMKC One Card Office. More information can be found on the office’s website.
Making Tuition Payments
If you wish to purchase a parking pass for access to student parking lots on campus, visit the Parking and Transportation website. There you will find information on cost, valid parking areas, and more.
Registering for Courses
After meeting with your advisor as a new student, you are able to register for courses in Pathway by logging-on with your student SSO. In Pathway you can also update your information, check your upcoming class schedule, and view your final grades.
Staying On Schedule
Throughout your time as a Bloch School Graduate Student, it is important to stay up to date with the academic calendar to remain aware of semester and enrollment timelines. The academic calendar can be found at the Office of Registration and Records website.
