Meet Our Students
Nolan Christensen Nolan Christensen grew up in Raytown, Missouri. He is the youngest of six boys. He is an avid sports fan, especially baseball. He studied history and economics at the University of Michigan. After graduating, he became an insurance sales associate for Aflac in the Kansas City area. While in the Bloch program, he hopes to build relationships and augment his skillset. Ideally, he would enter the world of personal financial advising in Kansas City and perhaps someday achieve his childhood dream of working in the Royals' front office.
As a newlywed, Nolan's primary focus is to build a strong foundation for the family his wife and he aspire to have. As they embark on their life together, Nolan and Arlinda seek to fortify their community from within by staying involved with service organizations. Nolan has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Rotary Youth Camp and REAP (the Raytown Emergency Assistance Program). With the increased capability the Bloch program offers, Nolan wants to redouble his commitment to the empowerment of others and the wellbeing of his community.
