Meet Our Students
Anina Sauer grew up in Mexico, the US and Switzerland and is trilingual. She graduated in 2000, cum laude from Duke University with a major in Economics, French and European studies, and a certificate in markets and management. In 2002 Anina moved to Switzerland and joined Capital Group International where she worked for 4 years as a funds associate. Part of her responsibilities included calculating NAVs for large mutual funds. In 2006, Goldman Sachs (GS) recruited Anina to work as a Wealth Management Professional. In 2011, Anina was promoted to Executive Director. Her responsibilities included cash management, trading, account opening and overall problem solving for Ultra High Net Worth clients. She has passed the Series 3, 7 and 63 exams.
In April 2016, she left GS and in July she moved to Kansas City in order to attend the Intensive Full-Time MBA program. She loves to try new things and to explore. Anina plans to continue in finance and private banking, but is also open to embarking on a new adventure. She is keen to learning more and open to discovering other career paths. She looks forward to attending events at the Bloch School of Management and meeting new people.
