Meet Our Students
Lacey Brewington grew up in rural Michigan. In 2012, she moved to Kansas City to work for the International House of Prayer in the HR function while continuing her education at UMKC. After completing her Bachelors in Enterprise Management, she moved into an organizational behavior and development role, focused on building internal processes and trainings with the goal of strengthening channels of communication and interdepartmental cohesiveness across the organization. Lacey's love for organizational behavior, people development, project management, and problem solving made her work both exciting and enjoyable.
After a couple of successful years in that role, Lacey wanted to take her personal and professional skills a step further through the Intensive Full-Time MBA program. During her time in the program she was able to strengthen her abilities in various business disciplines, build enduring relationships with her cohort, and gain dynamic international experience through the Global Immersion capstone. After graduation, she moved to Richmond, Virginia to work for The Frontier Project, an organizational behavior and transformation firm. There she works as an Associate Consultant, working with her team to help organizations successfully approach and execute the internal culture and behavior changes they want to make.
