The Bloch Executive MBA will help you develop and refine advanced business leadership skills. Through Saturday classes on the UMKC campus taught by industry leaders, individual executive coaching support, and a cohort of exceptional peers, you'll expand your perspective, discover new opportunities, and be better prepared to make a meaningful impact in your organization and across your community.
The Bloch Executive MBA is designed for busy professionals. Regular classes meet only three days per month (one Friday and two Saturdays). In addition to regular classes, there is one week-long intensive class in each of the four semesters. Two of these intensive courses are in Kansas City, one is in Washington D.C., and the final intensive course is a study abroad experience (conditions permitting).
Our courses are designed to enhance your technical and leadership skills and cultivate an innovative mindset. Through classroom experiences, applied projects, executive coaching, and local and global residencies, you’ll build your strengths, broaden your skillset, and open new doors to exciting opportunities. The concepts you explore will be relevant in your current role — and transformational in your life as a leader.
How often do you get to ask for honest, reflective advice from someone outside your reporting structure? Working with your Bloch Executive Coach, you’ll gain deeper insight into your professional strengths and practice, leveraging them to become a more authentic leader. Your coach will help you find solutions to challenges, such as navigating inter-office politics or implementing change in your organization.
