Meet Kansas City's best business minds at the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.

The Henry W. Bloch School of Management is the proud home of the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. As a dedicated space on the main level of the Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, it’s where we celebrate those who built business from the ground up. But more than a place of tribute, it’s where you can get inside the minds of Kansas City’s most successful entrepreneurs. Find insights. Get inspired. Discover what’s made them tick. You can learn about our inductees here. You can learn more at the Hall itself.

Honoring bold ideas. Inspiring bright futures.

Exhibits of the Hall include an interactive touchscreen featuring inductee biographies, educational kiosks, artifacts from the lives of entrepreneurs, a QR code-enabled mobile video experience, words of inspiration from the entrepreneurs themselves and more.

Behind the Idea

The Entrepreneur Hall of Fame was made possible through a generous gift from Joe & Judy Roetheli and The Roetheli Lil' Red Foundation. As the creators of Greenies® dog treats, the Roethelis have achieved great entrepreneurial success and wish to pay it forward. It was their vision to create a dimensional space within the Bloch School to honor entrepreneurs and inspire students.

About the Bloch School

The Bloch School's mission is to inspire and develop purposeful, entrepreneurial, innovative leaders. The Entrepreneur Hall of Fame builds upon that mission, giving entrepreneurs of the future a place to be inspired by the entrepreneurs of the past and present. The Bloch School helps build dynamic leaders by making entrepreneurial thinking a foundational part of its programs, courses and philosophy. Visit bloch.umkc.edu to learn more about the Henry W. Meet the Inductees

The inductees form an impressive group. Their names are synonymous with Kansas City and entrepreneurial success. Inductees are proven entrepreneurs who have made a big difference in their industry or have given back to the community in a meaningful way. Come back and be inspired, year after year, by the latest inductees.
