State of the Kansas City Nonprofit Sector

What is the state of Kansas City's nonprofit sector? What are the opportunities, needs, and challenges that confront of the sector, its people, and its organizations today? The Midwest Center has been engaged in a major research initiative to study the sector, and now the Center can begin to share key findings with KC's nonprofit board and executive leaders, as well as volunteers and staff, and discuss what they mean for our community, our sector, and our work. This work will be discussed in three reporting-back sessions (all will be at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center at 4801 Rockhill Road in Kansas City Missouri). The options are:

  • Monday, November 14: 1:30 to 3:00 pm (this session is Full)
  • Tuesday, December 6: 8:00 to 9:30 am (breakfast and networking begin at 7:30 am)
  • Thursday, December 8: 8:00 to 9:30 am (breakfast and networking begin at 7:30 am)

There is no cost to participate, but we ask that you register for the session you will attend so we can plan to accommodate the number of people who will participate.
