The Basics of Effective Board Service: Preparing to Make a Difference

The Basics of Effective Board Service Workshop is an introductory board member development program of the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. This distinctive program draws upon the nationally-noted expertise of the faculty of the Midwest Center and a diverse group of experienced board leaders from across the Greater Kansas City community to help prepare current and emerging leaders to serve effectively as members of nonprofit and public service boards, commissions, and task forces.

Full refunds will be given when cancellations are made at least five working days before the first class session. A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from refunds when notification occurs fewer than five working days before class begins. No refunds will be made after the first session has begun.
