Faculty Bios

Jane Lampo, Ed.D., CFRE

Since 2014, Jane Lampo is Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB). Prior to joining KCUMB she was Director of Major and Planned Gifts at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics where she was responsible for portfolio of over 100 major gift prospects and liaison for 6 clinical areas of the hospital. She also was responsible for the Planned Giving program of the hospital, including direction of the program, solicitation of planned gifts, stewardship of planned gift donors, and management of persons responsible for the Planned Giving Council, planned gift marketing and solicitation, and trust and estate administration. Previously, Jane was Vice President for University Advancement at Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri. In this capacity, she led all programs in fundraising, alumni and constituent relations, and public relations and marketing. Jane is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, having served on its Board of Directors from 2004 - 2006, and is a member of the local chapter, the Mid-America Planned Giving Council. In addition, Jane is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She has served on the board of the local AFP chapter, and is a faculty member of AFP's "Fundraising 101." She is an active volunteer, and she often counsels nonprofits on beginning planned giving programs for their organizations.
