Meet Our Students
Bao Dung Tran was born in the highlands of Vietnam. At the age of 18, she left home for Ho Chi Minh City to pursue her bachelor degree in International Business Economics. In college, she was an active member of an HIV-AIDS project team of AIESEC FTU HCMC, a popular youth non-profit organization. She also joined "Coach for College" in two consecutive summers for an educational camp in the Mekong Delta area. After graduation, she worked as a supply chain assistant in Asia Saigon Food Ingredients JSC for one year. During the following year, she worked as an administrative marketing executive for Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co. Her career goal is to offer her consulting services in the supply chain and food industries.
There are three hobbies influencing her life. The first one is reading books. Her favorite topics are non-fiction, religion, behavioral economics, mindfulness and traveling. The second is Aikido, which she has enjoyed practicing for three years. Bao also likes to travel. Apart from going north to south in Vietnam, she also has been to India, Singapore and Myanmar. She looks forward to exploring Japan, Bolivia, Bhutan, Tibet and of course, the U.S., working on her MBA at the Bloch School of Management.
