Pedro Tonhozi de Oliveira is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Missouri-Kansas City's Henry W. Bloch School of Management. He earned a Ph.D. in Telecommunications & Computer Networking and Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2017; and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Parana in Brazil in 2011. Before entering academia, he worked as project manager at an Internet Service Provider and Oil & Gas company.
Pedro's expertise spans the entrepreneurship field, focusing on entrepreneurial crowdfunding, new product development, web data collection and big data. He has published in top conferences including RENT, Babson, Academy of International Business and the Academy of Management. He also is the committee director for the largest Brazilian research conference outside Brazil. He is fluent in English and Portuguese and advance in German.
