COMMUNICATING DURING TIMES OF CRISIS AND CHANGE

September 17th 8:30-9:30 AM CST
Facilitated by Kevin Sansberry

Leaders today are faced with constantly evolving challenges including engaging virtually with their teams and organizations. From responding to the public health challenges presented by Covid-19, to mounting economic and societal pressures, leaders must find a way to provide guidance and support for employees who come from diverse walks of life. This is no easy task even for the most well-meaning leader.

In this session, we will look at factors that underlie difficult conversations, including our own experiences, biases and communication styles and uncover strategies for addressing employee engagement challenges.

Kevin Sansberry focuses on developing effective, high performing individuals and organizational systems working in the higher education, financial services, healthcare, nonprofit, and real estate industries. Kevin focuses his efforts on a diverse set of needs including DEI, motivation, and resiliency. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and business administration from the University of Central Missouri, his MBA from The University of Missouri-Kansas City, and is pursuing his doctorate of business administration from the University of Missouri-St Louis, studying the impact of destructive leadership behaviors on employee coping mechanisms.
