Damon Guinn is a 2016 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City's Executive Master of Public Administration program. A former L.P. Cookingham Scholarship recipient, Guinn has an extensive professional background in child, youth, and community development at the local, national, and international levels. He served as a writer and managing editor with an international humanitarian organization that supports children and families in developing countries before joining a local social and behavioral services provider as a grant writer and communications strategist. In his role as the Assistant Director, Guinn helps to implement and manage the Institute's applied research projects, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and publish findings in the Institute's Issue and Action Briefs, in special reports, and during community-oriented presentations.
