Garrett Looney, Peer Coach
Garrett Looney is an undergraduate student studying Business Administration at the Bloch School, pursuing his BBA, with an emphasis in Management. After graduation, he hopes to enter into a field in Human Resources. Outside of the Bloch School, Garrett is a lead server at a locally-owned, Mexican restaurant. He believes the Bloch Communication Center is a helpful resource for students to develop their business communication skills.
Patricia Gonzalez, Peer Coach
Patricia Gonzalez graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the Bloch School of Management last fall. She is currently a graduate student working towards obtaining her Master of Science in Accounting degree. After graduating with her Master's, her goal will be to attain her CPA license and she will work for a public accounting firm. She believes communication skills are very important in the business world and she is excited about the opportunity to help other students learn and improve those skills.
Kalen Magers, Peer Coach
Kalen Magers is an undergraduate student studying Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance. When she's not working in the Bloch Communication Center, you will find her pouring drinks as a bartender at a nearby Plaza restaurant. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in investment banking. She is excited to get to know you and polish your skills in the Communication Center.
Erin Blocher, Director
Erin Blocher has served as the Director of the Bloch Communication Center since it began in 2008. She teaches at the Bloch School of Management as a full-time instructor and is the course coordinator for MGT 301: Effective Business Communication. In addition to overseeing the Peer Coach staff, Erin works as a writing coach for the Bloch School's Executive Masters programs. She enjoys being in an atmosphere of learning each day and helping students reach their goals.
