Bloch Communication Center Coaches
Liz Jacquinot, Peer Coach
Liz Jacquinot is enrolled in the Creative Writing M.F.A. program at UMKC. In addition to her work in the Bloch Communication Center, she teaches an English 110 section, serves as a Writing Consultant at the UMKC Writing Studio, and is the Fiction Editor for Number One Magazine. She has a BA in Creative Writing, Spanish, and Sociology from UMKC. Liz has a best friend, sister, and cousin who all study or studied in business schools across the Midwest. Her love of working in the Communication Center comes from a deep desire to learn about the people who make the world tick.
Charlotte Gilman, Peer Coach
Charlotte Gilman obtained her BA in Theatre Performance from UMKC last year. She will graduate from UMKC's Bloch School in Spring 2014 with her BBA, emphasis in Enterprise Management. Charlotte is also a volunteer for Unleashed Pet Rescue, a stage-manager, and a Halloween enthusiast. Charlotte loves her job as a Peer Coach and enjoys working with a diverse group of students.
Dalton Gossett, Peer Coach
Dalton Gossett is a new coach at the Bloch Communications Center. He is in his last semesters in his program and will earn his BBA with an emphasis in Marketing in Spring 2014. He is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi on campus. While away from Bloch, Dalton spends much time at his job as a teller for a local bank. He looks forward to experience gained from his job as a coach.
Erin Blocher, Director
Erin Blocher has served as the Director of the Bloch Communication Center since it began in 2008. She teaches at the Bloch School of Management as a full-time instructor and is the course coordinator for MGT 301: Effective Business Communication. In addition to overseeing the Peer Coach staff, Erin works as a writing coach for the Bloch School's Executive Masters programs. She enjoys being in an atmosphere of learning each day and helping students reach their goals.
