Fees for coursework vary with the number of hours of enrollment; your undergraduate, graduate or professional school status; the term of enrollment; and the applicability of any special fees.
Missouri residents will be charged in-state fees. Non-resident students may be eligible for in-state or reduced out-of-state fees.
Students who at the time of application are residents of one of the following Kansas counties may be eligible for the Metro Rate: Atchison, Douglas, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Osage, Shawnee, Wyandotte.
If you are a part-time student (which means one class (three credit hours) to two classes (six credit hours) in fall and spring semesters, and one class in summer semester), you will pay in-state tuition regardless of your residency.
For students planning to enroll full time who are residents of Kansas (counties other than those included in the Metro Rate), Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska and North Dakota, the Midwest Student Exchange Program allows you to pay a reduced out-of-state fees for certain UMKC programs including those in the Bloch School.
