Rudolf “Rudy” Beese J.D.

Rudolf “Rudy” Beese practices in the areas of corporate and energy finance, real estate development and construction law. With more than 28 years of experience, Rudy advises national and international corporations, boards of directors, officers, management and administration on a variety of complex development and finance matters. He has extensive experience in public and private debt financing for construction projects, preparation and negotiation of construction contracts, structuring of various venture entities, negotiation of governmental incentives for the expansion or relocation of a broad spectrum of manufacturing and administrative operations, and resolution of a wide variety of construction claims.

In his construction practice, he has been responsible for national site selection and real estate development for public companies, privately held entities, startup entrepreneurial ventures and convergent technology firms in the high-tech and biomedical technology industries. He has represented owners, developers, architectural and engineering firms, contractors and financial institutions in construction matters related to contracts, disputes and related litigation, lending and development finance matters. His practice also includes experience in municipal finance transactions and the formation, financing and operation of transportation development districts, tax increment financing and community improvement districts, and the use of industrial revenue bonds, among others. In addition to his traditional real estate and construction practice, Rudy also represents clients with respect to renewable energy projects. He is active in SNR Denton’s Energy Practice, counseling national and international clients on matters pertaining to the siting, financing, construction and operation of state-of-the-art facilities for the production of electricity, biofuels or alternative fuels in a variety of states, environmental upgrades to existing large coal-fired facilities, and the development of alternative energy projects. His experience in this area extends work with professionals from the firm’s Public Law and Policy Strategies Practice addressing public policy matters pending before Congress and the executive branch of the United States government, as well as state and administrative agencies.

In the area of life sciences, he has been involved in the construction and/or incentivization of major pharmaceutical manufacturing and headquarters projects, biomedical campuses, business parks and related facilities. He has represented mature national and international companies in the optimization, expansion or relocation of their operations, and has represented growing health care, biotech and technology-based companies locally and nationally. He also has worked with emerging life sciences companies and organizations in the integration of venture capital and angel investments, scaling of their operations, and development of facilities in which these ventures can grow.
