Dr. Leigh Salzsieder is an assistant professor of accountancy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Henry W. Bloch School of Management. He has a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina, an MBA from the University of Kansas and a B.A. from Drury University, Springfield, Mo.
He currently teaches accounting and auditing at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Salzsieder's areas of research interest include behavioral aspects and implications of preparing and using fair value measurements, compensation and earnings management.
