The UMKC Bloch School Executive Education Center in partnership with the International Relations Council are pleased to present "Asian Economic Outlook" with Norihito Tanaka. The presentation will focus on the following:

• Current economic perspectives and business environment;

• Growth of Chinese economy;

• Japanese economic situation and governmental power shift;

• and emerging markets and economies in Asia.

Norihito Tanaka is a professor of international business and economics at the Kanagawa University School of Business Administration in Japan. He has taught around the world, including in Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and he was also a Fulbright Scholar in residence at the University of Kansas School of Business.

Tanaka earned his PhD in economics and business and MA in economics from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.

He has published several books, including Japan’s Postwar Economy, Technological Competitive Power of U.S. and Japan, U.S. Technology Strategy, and Transfer of Japanese Managerial Resources.
