Executive Education Innovation and Technology Suite for Spring 2010KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC Bloch School Executive Education Center, in partnership with the Bloch Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation presents a new Innovation and Technology Suite of courses, taught by three world-renowned innovation scholars.
The Innovation Suite offers five courses designed to help executive leaders make better strategic decisions about innovation and business growth:

- Innovation Strategy and Implementation Boot Camp for Senior Managers - March 8-12
- Launching New Products - April 9-10
- Pricing Strategy and Tactics: Learning to Make Proactive Pricing Decisions- April 15-16
- Technology Portfolio Assessment: A Real Options Approach - May 13-14

Dr. Michael Song is the world’s No. 1 Innovation Management Scholar as ranked by the Journal of Product Innovation Management and has been selected as one of the most cited Scientists in economics & business over a 10-year period by Essential Science Indicators. Dr. Song has also been honored as one of the top 20 technology management scholars by R&D Management and as the most published scholar in the Journal of Product Innovation Management over the last twenty years. Dr. Song holds the Charles (more)N. Kimball, MRI/Missouri Endowed Chair in Management of Technology and Innovation and is executive director of the Bloch School’s Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Dr. Mark Parry is the Ewing Marion Kauffman/Missouri Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership. His teaching/consulting assignments have included work for a number of Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Parry is the author of more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the author of three books: Cases in Marketing Strategy (with Yoshinobu Sato), Strategic Marketing Management: A Means-End Approach, and Mathematical Models of Distribution Channels (with Charles A. Ingene). His research has won several awards, including the 2005 Excellence in Global Marketing Research Award from the American Marketing Association.
Dr. Anthony Di Benedetto has been named one of the 50 leading research scholars worldwide in Innovation and Technology Management by the International Association of Management of Technology. He has also previously been named one of the leading scholars worldwide in innovation management by the Journal of Product Innovation Management, as well as by R&D Management. He has more than 80 refereed academic articles published in journals.
