Who are we?
PASA is made up of MPA and I.Ph.D. students who are interested in networking and socializing with students and faculty outside the classroom to enrich their experience at UMKC.
What is our purpose?
PASA’s purpose is to engage students academically, professionally, and socially in the study and practice of public administration.
What do we do:
* New Student Orientation
Each fall, we welcome new students to the MPA program.
* Happy Hours and Social
We like to socialize! We try to plan at least one different social event each month.
Upcoming events include happy hours, social gatherings, volunteer opportunities and more.
* The PASA Academic Review
This is an opportunity for PA students to showcase their current research projects in an informal presentation format.
* The PASA Professional Panel
Practitioners from different fields discuss various topics relevant to studies with an opportunity to speak one-on-one afterwards.
This is a great networking opportunity!
* Graduation Parties
We host a celebration for graduates each May and December. As with all PASA events, good (and free) food abounds!
* Other Events
It is an exciting time to be a member of PASA!! We are planning other events and are involved in other projects throughout the year.

We look forward to meeting you this semester!
